Long before I ever worked in functional medicine, my world was movement, performance, and the human body. I studied Exercise Physiology, Movement Science, Psychology, and Nutrition, became a certified personal trainer, and spent over 25 years training and competing as an athlete at a high level.
This wasn’t theoretical for me.
My body was my system.

I lived inside discipline, training cycles, recovery demands, and physical output long before I ever coached another woman through them.
For most of my life, I operated on the high-performing side of the spectrum.
I was the athlete who could push through anything.
The executive who kept delivering.
The woman who looked “healthy” on paper & had her life together.
And yet, in my 40s, I had a rare heart attack while doing everything “right.”
That moment changed everything.

Anxiety, depression, and a fractured relationship with my body
On the outside, I was still performing.

I stopped chasing surface fixes and devoted my work to understanding what actually drives weight resistance, inflammation, and body composition change—especially in women who are used to handling everything.
Today, I bridge science and lived experience. Strategy and compassion.
